DataLink

Datalink is built to meet country-specific data regulations such as GDPR and US data residency requirements. It allows the creation of dedicated regional environments where all data from a given location is stored and processed locally. New regions can be set up using secure AWS infrastructure.

The platform provides deep visibility into charger performance through its Insights module. Users can track charging sessions, hardware status, availability, and connectivity. With dozens of  telemetry points per charger, Datalink helps identify issues quickly and compare session data across different devices.

In the Factory area, each charger is registered, configured, tested, and validated through a structured process. Every step is recorded, providing full traceability from production to deployment and ensuring quality before the charger reaches the field.

A client-facing portal is being developed to give operators more direct control of their infrastructure. Features will include load management (LMS), remote media updates on DC fast chargers for advertising purposes, and detailed access to session data. This reduces dependence on third-party systems and helps operators and after sales teams respond more effectively to charger events.

Access to Datalink is protected through two-factor authentication and IP-based restrictions. User roles are defined internally, with access rights tied to specific regions to ensure compliance and security.
